Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean countries - Advances in the implementation of the NDC in Latin America
More than two years after the entry into force of the Paris Agreement,
the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean have their first Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs)
in which they have set their mitigation and adaptation goals. to climate change, identifying priority sectors and
financing requirements. The implementation of the NDC requires a configuration of the economic policy that generates
incentives towards the adoption of low carbon production and consumption patterns and, also, that is consistent with
the vision of sustainable development of the 2030 Agenda.
